Welcome, Sam

Mid West Displays has appointed Sam Phillips as Sales and Office Manager. Sam will oversee operations at our Shrewsbury office, managing the Sales and Support teams.

Sam has a wealth of experience in administration, sales and management.

Her career began in the financial services sector, overseeing the complex world of compliance and dealing with complaint handling – not a skill she’ll need in her new role! A move into Account Management confirmed how much she enjoyed dealing with clients and its true – Sam is a natural people person!

Her last role before joining us saw her juggle lots of responsibilities as Sales Manager in a family-run security products company including managing existing accounts as well as expanding the customer base, running trade shows and sales events, and undertaking marketing activities such as social media marketing.

We asked Sam what attracted her to join us?

Mid West Displays is a brand leader which always helps when it comes to sales. And they continue to innovate and grow. Claralight LED range is a great example and sums up their commitment to sustainable solutions. And the growth of their digital signage range shows they can adapt to new demands.

Sam already has ambitious plans including develop new product ranges such as For Sale boards – “it’s a natural fit for our customer base” she says – as well as expanding our export sales and international distribution network.
