Our sister brand Wrights Plastics has developed a flat pack low cost testing pod to help make rapid testing easier, safer and faster.
The UK Government has identified rapid lateral flow testing as helping prevent the spread of Coronavirus and helping businesses, schools and many other organisations operate as safely as possible. Rapid testing using lateral flow tests, aims to help protect those at highest risk. Around 1 in 3 people who have coronavirus have no symptoms and may be unknowingly spreading the virus.
On the 7th February 2021 the UK government announced that the rapid testing programme was expanded to include organisations with 50 or more employees
100s of organisations are or will be carrying out rapid lateral flow testing – and Wrights Plastics has developed a testing pod to make it as safe, as private and as fast as possible.
The pod is manufactured from high quality acrylic - the materials protective qualities are why we use it to make our range of sneeze screens. The standard size is 1m wide x 2m high, but the company can manufacture to almost any size.
The pods are supplied flat packed. No specialist installation is needed - the pod assembles in minutes. Each pod can be used as a standalone booth, or easily joined to other pods to create a temporary testing centre. The pod includes a clear acrylic panel with hatch and shelf to contactless testing.
The side panels can be printed with branding or essential safety information.
They can easily taken down and re-assembled in another location if required.
