In its almost 150 year existence visitors to The Grand Hotel Birmingham have included King George VI, Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin – and Karl from our digital installation team!
Grand in scale as well as name the building has recently undergone a £50million transformational refurbishment to restore its role as Birmingham’s premier hotel, events venue and food & drink experience – which is where we come into the story.
We have installed two Ultra High Brightness screens to bring some C21st digital marketing to this stunning C19th hotel.
The 43” screens are delivering some mouth-watering images of the menu items available at the Hotel’s restaurants. The screen’s narrow bezel means they could fitted side-by-side in a portrait orientation framed perfectly by full height windows on the Church Street elevation of the building.
Even on Birmingham’s sunniest days, the Ultra High Brightness 3,500cd/m2 monitor and IPS technology accurately displays image quality and colour depth with no fall-off.
Following in the footsteps of the great and the good, our installer Karl installed and set up the screens so that the Johan and the team were ready to display their dynamic content.
